Q/A PART 4: 5 QUICK QUESTIONS. Time sure flies by faster and faster! What happened to 2017? It felt like summer just left us and we are almost in mid November. But I must say that I’m really excited that Christmas is coming closer as well as the ski season has begun! Some of my favourite memories comes from skiing in the alps. I’m currently convincing my parents to rent a chalet in the alps over Christmas and new years even, it would be so cozy but it’s pretty much sold out everywhere but I will keep my fingers crossed that I can find something cozy for us! It would be such a dream come true to celebrate christmas and new years in the alps! It was a long time ago since we last had a Q/A here on the blog so I thought I might answer the 5 most frequently asked questions from the last couple of months so here we go!
Q/A PART 4: 5 QUICK QUESTIONS.
What is the status of your move to London?
Answer: I’m so excited about our coming move to London in 2018! Everything has worked out with Johan’s work so we will spend our time between our apartment here in Stockholm and a new apartment in London. We will spend 50% of our time in London and 50% in Stockholm and other places around the world, I’m really looked forward to this new chapter in our lives, it has always been a dream of mine to live in London, a city I love so much!
When will you launch your travel podcast ‘Ready for takeoff’?
Answer: Time truly has flown by so fast and our vision and ambition was to launch the first episode this fall but the technical part of the production has been a bit more hard than I thought and we haven’t really had the time to focus on that as much as we would have wanted due to our work but we are aiming to launch the first episode by the end of this month so fingers crossed that the technical part will work out!
How is the renovation of your apartment going? Will you be sharing pictures from the progress?
Answer: It’s going well! The design of our kitchen has been made and put in to production which is very exciting, we will have to wait 9 weeks until the kitchen will arrive but it’s going to be worth the wait. The renovation of our bathroom is almost done which is super exciting as well! We hope we will be able to move in to the apartment in January 2018! I will start sharing more images from the progress of the renovation, it’s always fun to see something go from a big mess to something pretty!
For how long do you think you will continue with your blog?
Answer: I have had my blog for over 10 years time now, I started the blog on January 21st back in 2007 and it has been my full time job since I graduated school back in 2009. I love my blog and how it has grown with my throughout the last decade but I’m moving more towards consulting which I have been focusing on the last year. I work as consultant towards luxury travel and restaurants and I love it, I help companies create a social media strategy as well as concept and content development and I love it. I will always have the blog as I love everything about having a blog, the creative part as well as having built a community of readers during 10 years time but I love consulting as well so as for now I spend 50% of my time on the blog and 50% of my time on building my career as a consultant within the social media field.
I loved seeing Johan and you on Bytt är Bytt! Have you thought about opening up a youtube channel?
Answer: Thank you so much! The feedback from our participation on the tv-show ‘Bytt är Bytt’ has been overwhelming and I can’t thank you enough! I actually miss the video format a lot and I have actually bought a Canon G7X Mark II so I will actually start filming footage which I’m looking forward to doing! I think my focus will be travel and food as those are my main passions but we will see in what direction the channel goes, I haven’t really decided yet!
