THE ROSEBERY IN LONDON. I have been longing for this moment for quite some time now, finally The Rosebery has opened! It’s the new chic and luxurious spot at The Mandarin Oriental in London to indulge in cream tea with your friends or loved ones. I stayed here earlier this summer with my sister but they hadn’t opened then so I was thrilled to be back in the city and this time the doors had opened up to this beautiful space. The interior design is stunning with the high ceilings and enormous windows that make the room bright and happy. The colors are viviv with a modern playfulness to this very classic tradition. I loved the special made porcelain with the chic birds on them. You can actually buy the porcelain that they use for the serving in their shop which I will do next time I’m in London.
I just had to try it while I was in London so I booked a meeting at The Rosebery over cream tea to mix business with pleasure and it was a divine experience. They have been inspired by the birdlife and they hang the cream tea on metallic branches that have been fixed in to the floors to give the impression of a birdcage but it’s all about letting the birds free. It’s a very beautiful concept that you have to see. I recommend you to try their white tea with the exotic fruits, it was one of the best teas I have ever experienced so far in my life. I will be back with Johan here next time we are in London to enjoy this cream tea together, a new favourite spot has been found.
THE ROSEBERY IN LONDON. Som jag har längtat efter att The Rosebery ska öppna! Jag bodde på The Mandarin Oriental i London tidigare denna sommar med min syster och då hade dom ännu inte slagit upp portarna till detta himmelska afternoon tea rike. Det här är bland det bästa jag vet att göra medan jag är i London, boka in mig på olika cream tea så mycket jag bara kan! Johan är rätt van nu att sitta som ensam man i ett rum fullt av uppklädda tjejer som sitter och snick snackar över te och bakverk men han har kommit in i det. Jag kunde inte låta bli att inte besöka The Rosebery medan jag befann mig i London så för att effektivisera det så bokade jag även in ett möte samtidigt för att blanda business med pleasure.
Jag fullkomligt älskade upplevelsen, lokalen är stor och rymlig med högt i tak och världens ljusinsläpp. Inredningen är färgstark, chic men samtidigt sober och elegant. Väldigt klassiskt men samtidigt modernt och lekfullt! Specialdesignat porslin och jag älskade konceptet av det flygande high teat. De hänger nämligen upp ställningen på en vacker specialdesignad gren som är monterad i golvet så det svävar vid sidan av bordet, väldigt chict! Jag måste rekommendera er att smaka deras vita te med exotiska frukter, ett av de godaste teerna jag smakat. Hit kommer jag tillbaka med Johan utan att tveka.
