10 LOVELY LUNCH SPOTS IN PARIS. Paris is filled with so many charming lunch spots and I wanted to share 10 of my favourite spots that I frequently visit when in Paris. I have filled this list with everything from the more expensive Guide Michelin alternatives to the more classic French bistros and brasseries to the spots that are trending right now. A little mix of everything and in all price ranges. I hope you will find a new favourite spot from this list!
SEPTIME. Michelin-starred restaurant by Chef Bertrand Grébaut. Beautiful open space with delicious and mouth watering food.
Location: 80 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris
CHEZ JULIEN. Dating back to 1780 and registered as a historical monument this restaurant is a classic French restaurant with a relaxed and chic vibe with a lovely location.
Location: 1 Rue du Pont Louis-Philippe, 75004 Paris
COMPTOIR GOURMET. I come to this place to enjoy their savoury crêpe paninis, as well as their truffle platter and big burrata.. Not to be missed!
Location: 51 Rue du Temple, 75004 Paris
L’AVENUE. A fun place for lunch if you are in the mood for people watching and delicious seafood! I usually order their tuna tartare.
Location: 41 Avenue Montaigne, 75008 Paris
LE BUCI. Johan and I always went here when we lived in St Germain des Prés. Such a cozy place, a classic French bistro. Also great for people watching.
Location: 52 Rue Dauphine, 75006 Paris
CAFÉ ST RÉGIS. My favourite spot on île Saint Louis, great location, lovely ambiance, a classic French brasserie. I recently fell in love with their goat cheese salad but they are also very good with their egg-dishes.
Location: 6 Rue Jean du Bellay, 75004 Paris
PINK MAMAN. One of the most talked about Italian restaurants in Paris at the moment. Don’t miss their truffle pasta, truffle pizza as well as their tiramisu.
Location: 20bis Rue de Douai, 75009 Paris
LA SOCIÉTÉ. Slightly hidden behind the bushes on Place Saint-Germain des Prés you will find La Société. I prefer this restaurant over both Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots (Even though both those places are good for people watching, but I don’t go there for a culinary experience). I love their spicy tuna and avocado tartare.
Location: 4 Place Saint-Germain des Prés, 75006 Paris
COSTES. This place truly is a water hole for fashion people in Paris, so in other words, great for people watching, enjoying the lovely ambiance and cozy atmosphere. A very romantic place. I love their spicy lobster pasta and their truffle risotto.
Location: 239-241 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris
SANUKIYA. This Japanese restaurant located in the cozy area of Palais Royal is a must visit if you enjoy the Japanese cuisine. It’s the best Udon food you can experience in Paris and I would highly recommend you to try their tempura Udon and rices.
Location: 9 Rue d’Argenteuil, 75001 Paris
