Best of travel 2015

Photographer: Mon amour

BEST OF TRAVEL 2015. I love sitting with a cup of tea in my hands and going through the archives of the blog, looking through all the pictures and remembering all the amazing memories that 2015 brought! Sometimes when you are living it you can’t really grasp it all but that’s something I will work on during 2016, taking a step back during all our coming travels to really soak it all in to the fullest. My vision for this entry was to do a highlight to my a couple of favourite trips that happened this last year. I wish I could add all journeys to this post as each trip added something unique and interesting to it. AS I love culinary experiences cities I travel the most to are London, Paris and New York and of course due to my job these are the cities I work in the most but I always try business with pleasure when I’m in these cities, trying as many new restaurants and new café concepts as possible, that’s what I love! But I always plan new exotic trips each year to new parts of the world where I have never been before and during 2016 I will focus on exploring new continents, pretty soon Johan and I will be heading to the other side of the world, in March we take off and I am so excited for this new cultural experience that I can’t wait to share with you on the blog. But here we go, some of my top trips of 2015!

BEST OF TRAVEL 2015. But here we go, här kommer några av mina favoritresor under 2015!

NEW YORKUSA – Februari

Ready for take off!

Each New York trip we go to Dominique Ansel Bakery and buy cronuts! A NY tradition!

Loved staying at Hotel Hugo in Soho, their rooftop was stunning!

New York is all about trying new restaurants and cafés and brunch, always, always, brunch!

COURCHEVELFrance – March

Johan and I spent 1 week skiing in Courchevel in France, such a stunning place!

The sun was out everyday and the slopes were amazing! We had such a wonderful time!

I loved the village of Courchevel, the shopping was above and beyond!

LONDONEngland – Februari

Our favourite hotel in London is The Goring and Johan and I try to stay there as often as we can! This is also my favourite picture of Johan that I took 2015, he looks so very British!

We had a long weekend together in London and spent most of our time at The Goring being all romantic and eating delicious food! Where to find the best eggs benedict in London? You find it at The Goring, it’s absolutely marvellous!

This place has such a dear place in mine and Johan’s heart!<3

Doing a in room afternoon tea service in our hotel room at The Goring while watching our favourite shows, such a cozy evening!

GENEVASwitzerland – March

We did a weekend to Geneva and this was my first time in the city!

We stayed at The Four Seasons in Geneva and it was such a beautiful experience! The breakfast was beyond everything else! You felt like a princess at all times!

Such a stunning hotel!

We spent our last days in Geneva at Le Richmond and their breakfast didn’t disappoint either…! #TheView

MALDIVESMaldives – April

For Johan’s 30th birthday I got him a present to the Maldives, I was so excited to explore it together with him! This was my second time in the Maldives and it was even more beautiful that what I remembered it to be! (Last time I was there was in 2012)

Our favourite stay was at Conrad Rangali! Such a stunning place!

Ready for breakfast!

The beauty was so overwhelming! And Maldives truly is one of those places where it is actually more beautiful in real life than in pictures which is quite hard to believe!

Johan and I rally want to get back to the Maldives as soon as possible, we miss it so!

Endless shades of blues..

What we drank everyday, fresh coconuts!

MIAMI & KEY WESTUSA – July

Exploring Miami for a couple of days before heading off on a roadtrip to Key West! Exploring something completely new that I’ve never seen before!

In the lobby of our super chic little boutique hotel in Key West!

Fish tacos and mojitos everyday! The key West life!

Canooing in the Mangroves was such a fun experience I will never forget!

I loved exploring the keys!

Our visit to the only turtle hospital in the US was one of the strongest memories!

NEW YORKUSA – July

We did a little weekend to New York in the summer, just enjoying ice creams and the tivoli in Central Park and taking it easy!

Up on the amazing rooftop of The Standard Hotel!

One of my favourite things to do in New York is to discover new rooftops! I love getting panoramic views over the city!

Froyo with fresh berries in Central Park, a classic!

MARBELLASpain – May

We were flown down to Marbella for Ocean Club’s opening weekend! I brought my friend Mickis and we had such a fun weekend spent at Ocean Club Marbella!

The brunch experience at Ocean Club Marbella was beyond amazing..!

ST TROPEZ & CANNESFrance – July

I did another tip with Mickis, but this time to Cannes and St Tropez! The french riviera is such a beautiful place and there is so much more I want to explore!

Hotel Eden Roc was the most stunning hotel I have seen on the French riviera, it’s in its own league!

Long lunches at Eden Roc by the ocean..! #TheView

My kind of place..

Staying at the stunning Villa Marie in St Tropez!

Back in Cannes for a couple of days!

PARISFrance – August

I spent 2 weeks in Paris in August, visiting a friend who is living there as well as doing a long weekend with one of my closest friends Panniey!

Paris in its full beauty!

An afternoon tea session at The Paninsula with Paniney, such a great memory!

Desserts always come first in Paris, always.. Visiting my old street in Paris where I used to live, on Rue Jacob in St Germain des Pres!

Oh Pareee…!

Our long weekend in Paris at the Park Hyatt was such a fantastic memory, Paniney and I shared so many laughs all the time and just indulged in all the delicious Parisians foods!

My morning tea is the best kind of tea!

NEW YORKUSA – September

Back at it! #Flightmode

New York in September with Johan is a favourite of mine!

Long brunches at Bluestone Lane Collective Cafe is the best kind..

Exploring more of DUMBO in Brooklyn!

LONDONEngland – October

Doing a long weekend with my big sister to London, a tradition of ours!

We stayed at The Mondrian, such a chic and modern hotel! Loved it!

The in room breakfast at The Mondrian was beyond perfection and so delicious! Those blueberry pancakes and that avocado toast..!

I truly love London with all my heart! Can’t wait to be back!

Kram!
