Belgraves – a thompson hotel

BELGRAVES – A THOMPSON HOTEL. After spending 3 days down in Southwark at the Mondrian we checked in to Belgraves in Belgravia, a hotel in the thompson group. Johan and I stayed at this hotel back in 2013 and really enjoyed it so it felt nice to be back but this time with my sister Jenny. Perfectly located in the heart of Belgravia, I love staying in this area, it’s very calm and quite as there are mostly embassies here so not a lot of tourists find their way here. It’s perfectly located to great restaurants, parks and shopping just around the corner! Before we checked in to our room we enjoyed a little mini meal in the bar to fuel up a bit, we ordered some fries with truffle, mozzarella balls and ceviche as well as a glas of champagne and a mango/passionfruit cocktail. After we were done with our little mini lunch our room was ready and they asked if we would like to have something up to our room as well, we were both craving a creamy cappuccino so just a short time after we got to our room we got 2 creamy cappuccinos delivered with a plate of cookies and chocolates. I loved the view from our room, I think it might be the exact same room that Johan and I stayed in back in 2013, at least it was on the same floor! I love the interior design of this hotel, it feels very intimate and cozy, a perfect boutique hotel to book for a weekend with your girlfriends or partner for that matter!

BELGRAVES – A THOMPSON HOTEL. Efter 3 dagar nere i Southwark på the Mondrian så checkade vi in på Belgraves i Belgravia, ett boutique hotell i thompson gruppen. Jag och Johan bodde på detta hotell 2013 och trivdes jätte bra så det kändes kul att komma tillbaka hit men denna gång med Jenny! Deras läge är perfekt mitt i Belgravia och hur nära som helst till massa fantastiska restauranger, shopping och parker, jag älskar att bo på hotell i detta område. Det är väldigt lugn och tyst då det mest är ambassader i området. Innan vi checkade in på vårt rum så tog vi en liten mini lunch i deras bar, vi beställde in tryffel fries, mozzarella balls, ceviche samt lite bubbel och en passion/mango cocktail, så gott! De frågade om vi ville ha upp något på rummet när vi var redo att gå dit och vi var båda sugna på en creamy cappuccino så strax därpå så kom 2 creamy cappuccinos upp med en tallrik med lite cookies och tryfflar, dom vet hur man uppvaktar mitt hjärta här! Utsikten från vårt rum var över hela Belgravia, tror nästan det var exakt samma rum som jag och Johan bodde i för 2 år sedan, samma våningsplan var det iaf. Det här är verkligen det perfeka boutique hotellet att boka in sig på för en weekend med sina tjejkompisar eller partner för den delen. Det är väldigt trivsamt och mysigt inrett!
