Arrived in Paris

ARRIVED IN PARIS. After a smooth flight from New York to Paris it was time to take a new cab that took us to Hotel Molitor where we would spend the coming days while in Paris. We took a night flight from New York which I think is perfect as you get to sleep the entire flight and then you wake up to a new day when you arrive, it feels like a smooth transition in to the new timezone! Hotel Molitor is a legendary spot in Paris, did you know that this was the place where the bikini was worn for the first time ever as well as the pool located at the hotel was the first place where men and women could swim together? Pretty amazing! Unfortunately the building was run down during the 80ies and the spot was used for underground parties and the entire building was covered in graffiti but luckily the building was bought a couple of years ago and was renovated heavily in to the 5 star hotel it is today! I like how they have kept the buildings legacy by painting the building in it’s original color, they have kept all the blue doors to the mini changing rooms that you can see around the pool and they also have a lot of art showings at the hotel in honour of its history during the 80ies. All this creates a truly unique hotel experience that you can’t get anywhere else in Paris!

As we arrived early in the morning we checked in to our room straight away and had our breakfast there instead, you always feel a bit tired after a long trip and especially after an intense fashion week in New York, it felt like the exhaustion hit me when we landed in Paris. Johan and I decided to change clothes and jump in to the hotel robes and just relax with room service as well as catching up on our favourite tv series, we never have the time to watch them when we are travelling but I like it, this way you have so much fun things to watch when you have the time!

ARRIVED IN PARIS.
