ARRIVED IN ÅRE. One of the first things that we always do when we arrive in Åre is that we go up to the square where you will find Hansons that sell all kind of skiing clothes, they also have a Skistar rental service in the shop, it’s their concept store. I always go here to rent my ski equipment! I think it’s such a great comfort to travel without all the ski equipment, especially when you travel abroad to the alps.
We arrived in Åre on december 30th and spent our first night in our cabin drinking champagne and eating pizza from En Liten Krog, a restaurant I love in Åre. On new years we spent the day out in the slopes and then at night we had a dinner for 12 people in our cabin, after the dinner we went to the square for the countdown and celebrated with champagne when the clock hit 00.00 while watching the fireworks! It was the perfectly balanced new years eve and both Johan and I woke up early to hit the slopes on January 1st, starting off the year in the right way! I have also found my favourite hot chocolate in Åre, you can find it at Åregården, it’s hot cocoa perfection, not to be missed!
ARRIVED IN ÅRE. Bland det första vi gjorde efter vi anlänt i Åre var att gå upp till torget och Hansons som även har en Skistar shop inne i butiken, där inne hyr jag alltid mina skidor. Något jag verkligen vill göra är att gjuta mina egna pjäxor och installera värmeslingor i dom som jag kan ha med mig på alla olika skidresor vi gör. Men när det kommer till skidor och stavar så är jag alldeles för bekväm för att konka med det, speciellt när man reser till alperna, jag tycker det är så smidigt att hyra på plats!
Vi anlände i Åre den 30 december och spenderade kvällen i stugan med att dricka champagne och äta pizzor från En Liten krog, älskar det stället. På nyårsafton så åkte vi skidor på dagen och sedan på kvällen så hade vi en middag för 12 personer i vår stuga och sedan så drack vi champagne på torget på tolvslaget medan vi kollade på fyrverkerierna! Det blev precis lagom så vi var uppe i backen den 1 januari och kunde njuta av en underbar skiddag. Har även hittat min favorit hot chocolate i Åre, den inne på Åregården är perfektion, missa inte den!
