ITHAA UNDERSEA RESTAURANT. Johan and I had the most stunning lunch that we have ever had at Conrad and why was that so special? Because you eat it in the middle of the Indian Ocean, watching the beautiful coral reefs and fishes passing by! There are other restaurants under the water in the world, for example the one in Dubai but this is the only natural undersea restaurant. The other ones are not located in the real water, it’s all artificial. But at Ithaa everything you see outside the windows are real and it was such an amazing experience that we will never forget! You can also rent this space at night and the hotel will make it in to a bedroom, so you can sleep under water, wouldn’t that be amazing to cross off your bucket list? You almost forgot to eat the food as you were so caught up in all the hundreds of beautiful fishes that were passing by! There is also a big possibility of seeing manta rays here at night as well as reef sharks!
ITHAA UNDERSEA RESTAURANT. Jag och Johan åt den mest storslagna lunchen vi någonsin varit med om på Conrad och varför var det så speciellt? Jo, vi åt vår lunch mitt i Indiska Oceanen i världens enda äkta undervattens restaurant Ithaa! Det finns andra restauranger i världen, bland annat den i Dubai, men då sitter man inte i ett äkta hav med äkta fiskar utan det är konstgjort! Här sitter man och äter mat mitt i den Indiska Oceanen medan man kollar ut över korallreven och revfiskarna, det var så strålande vackert! Man kan även hyra denna lokal av hotellet och då gör de om de till ett sovrum så man kan sova mitt i havet, hur coolt vore inte det att bocka av från ens bucket list? Man glömde nästan bort att äta maten då man var så uppslukad av att titta på alla hundratals fiskar som simmade runt en! Det är heller inte ovanligt att man ser manta rays här på kvällen samt revhajar!
