AFTERNOON TEA AT THE RITZ. One of the most legendary afternoon teas you can experience in London is the one served at The Palm Court at The Ritz. This is the perfect experience to share with your loved one or girlfriends. As Johan and I stayed at The Ritz we felt that we had to experience this legendary British high tea in true Christmas spirit. When you book high tea at The Ritz you need to book in advance at least 1-2 months but as guests at the hotel they will do their outmost to get you a table and luckily they managed to get us a table, such an excellent service.
I have experience many fine high tea sessions in my life so far but what I felt with the high tea at The Ritz is that you travel back in time and you can feel the history of the hotel that only the walls knows all about. You get a sensation of excitement of what is to come! In true Christmas spirit they had a live choir singing for us as well as their resident pianist. The setting and ambience was so beautiful and everything from the little sandwiches to the pastries to the scones were all excellent! This is something I will take with me for the rest of my life and I am so happy I got to share this very special memory with Johan!

Det här är den perfekta upplevelsen att göra tillsammans med sin kärlek eller tjejkompisar. Jag och Johan bodde tidigare denna vecka på The Ritz och kände att vi måste få uppleva detta legendariska high tea och ringde ned till receptionen för att höra med dom om det gick att ordna. Detta afternoon tea är uppbokat i 1-2 månader i förväg men som gäst på hotellet så gör dom sitt allra yttersta att hitta ett bord till en om man vill, en fantastisk service!
Jag har upplevt många otroliga afternoon teas hittills i mitt liv men det jag verkligen kände och kommer ta med mig i framtiden är känslan av att färdas tillbaka i tiden så fort man steg in i det legendariska och slående vackra Palm Court. Att man fick ta del av historian, om bara väggar kunde tala! Utöver att de har en pianist som spelar för en under upplevelsen så hade de även en kör som sjöng vackra julsånger för att verkligen fullborda julkänslan! Allt från de små mackorna till bakverken och teerna vi drack var fantastiska! Det här är verkligen en upplevelse jag kommer bära med mig för resten av mitt liv och jag är så glad att jag fick uppleva den tillsammans med Johan!
