AFTERNOON TEA IN LONDON. Something that is quite a tradition for me while in London is to have a afternoon tea session booked. I think it is such a delightful tradition the British people have. This time we had the session at Brown’s Hotel, where we live. They serve one of the most famous afternoon teas in London and it was voted The Tea Guide’s ‘Top London Afternoon tea 2009’.
We had their rosé champagne afternoon tea, a little special edition for the summer composed by a glass of Ruinart rosé together with fresh strawberries and cream. They have a pianist playing during the whole session for the guests which is extremely relaxing, creating the perfedct ambiance. The also have a tea sommelier that will guide you through the amazing jungle of tea blends that they offer. I would recommend you to try these blends: Cornish grown tea, Organic bohea lapsang and Nilgiri frost. Those are the blends that we had and they were divine. The environment is so inspiring which created frequent guests like Queen Elizabeth II and the former prime minister of the United Kingdom Sir Winston Churchill.
AFTERNOON TEA IN LONDON. Något som har blivit en tradition med jag är i London är att alltid ha en inbokad afternoon tea session. Jag tycker det är en underbar tradition som britterna har. Denna gång var vi inbokade på Brown’s Hotel där vi bodde. De erbjuder en av de mest kända afternoon teat i London och det blev även tilldelat priset ‘Top London Afternoon tea 2009’ av The Tea Guide.
Vi tog deras rosé champagne afternoon tea som är en special edition nu under sommaren. Man dricker deras Ruinart rosé champagne och till detta serverar de färska jordgubbar med grädde. De har en pianist som spelar under hela sessionen och de har även en te sommelier som hjälper dig genom djungeln av te som hotellet erbjuder. Vi drack dessa blandningar som jag varmt kan rekommendera: Cornish grown tea, Organic bohea lapsang samt Nilgiri frost. Miljön är så inspirerande på Browns vilket skapade stamgäster som Queen Elizabeth II samt den tidigare Britiska premiärministern Sir Winston Churchill.
