FAVOURITE SPOTS IN NY. I have spent a lot of time in New York so far in my life and I truly feel that I want to live in this city for a period of time in my life. I get more and more favourite spots for each trip I spend in this city and I thought that I would share some of my places with you.
I wanted to share with you some of my favourite spots when it comes to finding a delicious bite in the city. A delicious breakfast or a perfect dessert for the afternoon or why not some frozen yoghut? These are some of my favourites.
– Café Gitane – This is one of my classic spots for breakfast in the city. I always have their waffles with maple syrup and fresh fruit. Be sure to try their avocado sandwich, very delicious indeed!
– The Plaza Food Hall – As we lived at The Plaza Hotel we lived super close to this heavenly food hall. They have everything you could possibly want to eat. I love their frozen yoghurt they serve here.
– Lafayette – A newly opened restaurant in Soho that is always fully booked due to their delicious food. But make sure not to miss their own bakery where they serve amazing desserts.
– St Clinton Bakery – You can find the most divine pancakes in the city here. They have won so many awards. I always come here for breakfast for blueberry pancakes and a milkshake.
– The Chelsea Market – I love this market, there are so many delicious places to try here. I love Ronnybrook Dairy that serve the most amazing shakes and cookies.
– Baked by Melissa – I am a big fan of cupcakes but especially the small ones. This is the place to go to if you are craving a little heavenly bite.
FAVOURITE SPOTS IN NY. Jag har spenderat otroligt mycket tid i New York hittills i mitt liv och jag känner verkligen att detta är en stad jag vill testa på att bo i under en period i mitt liv. Jag samlar på mig mer och mer nya favoriter för varje resa jag gör och jag tänkte ta tillfället i akt och dela med mig av några av mina favoriter till er.
Jag tänkte börja med att tipsa vart man hittar stadens godbitar. En mumsig frukost eller en härlig eftermiddags fika eller varför inte den perfekta platsen för lite frozen yoghurt?
– Café Gitane – Detta är en klassiker jag går till varje gång man är i New York. Älskar deras waffles med sirap och färsk frukt till frukost. Glöm inte att testa deras avokadomacka också.
– The Plaza Food Hall – I och med att vi bodde på The Plaza Hotel så var vi farligt nära denna gudomliga plats. En fantastisk food hall med allt man kan tänka sig vilja äta när det kommer till godsaker. Jag älskar deras frozen yoghurt som de har här.
– Lafayette – Ett helt nyöppnat ställe i Soho som är konstant fullbokat i och med deras fantastiska mat. Om ni inte lyckas få bord så tycker jag ni ska gå till deras bageri för att köpa med lite bakverk hem. Alldeles underbart gott!
– St Clinton Bakery – Här hittar ni New York’s bästa diner. Med ofantligt många priser för deras pannkakor. Gå hit för en frukost och testa deras blueberry pancakes och en shake. Köpt även med er något gott från deras bageri.
– The Chelsea Market – Jag älskar denna marknad, ni hittar hur mycket fantastiska matbutiker som helst här. Mycket godsaker om man säger så! Jag älskar Ronnybrook Dairy som finns här inne, hans kakor och shakes är divine.
