Tuna is truly a delicious fish, one of my favourites!
The other day Johan and I tried the new restaurant Strandvägen 1 for lunch in Stockholm. I have been very excited to try this restaurant ever since I moved to Paris earlier this year and they said it would open during the spring. It is the owners to Lydmar that has opened up this restaurant on one of the best adresses in town so my expectations have been quite high! I had their grilled tuna with sobrasada, poached egg and spinach, bean and olive salad. I did enjoy my food, I loved the presentation but the prices are very high and then the service must be on top at all times. Mistakes like not being attentive if the guests water is empty is not acceptable. As well as they didn’t come and ask if we were satisfied with our meals. But I might give it one more chance, I think they have great potential. Just if they correct mistakes like these.
Här om dagen testade jag och Johan den nya restaurangen Strandvägen 1 för lunch. Har sett fram emot invigningen av den enda sedan jag flyttade till Paris ibörjan på året. Det är ägarna till Lydmar som startat denna restaurang på en av stans bästa adresser. Har haft väldigt höga förväntningar då jag älskar Lydmar. Jag tog deras grillade tonfisk med sobrasada, pocherat ägg och sallad på spenat, oliver och bönor. Jag älskar uppläggningen av maten och jag tycker de har lyckats med menyn. Men servicen var inte på topp, de var inte uppmärksamma och när en lunch går på över 800 kr kan man inte begå misstag som att missa att vattnet är slut i gästernas glas eller att ens fråga om gästen är nöjd med sin måltid. Jag kan absolut tänka mig att komma tillbaka då jag gillade maten men det enda som tar emot är servicen. Får se om jag ger det en chans till, jag tror det kan bli hur bra som helst bara misstag som dessa inte upprepas.
