LOUIS VUITTON EVENT. We flew back from London last Wednesday to start the preparations for the move and on then on Thursday we were invited by Louis Vuitton to their latest project celebrating monogram at their flagship store here in Stockholm. Six prominent designers and artisans from around the world got the mission to do their own interpretation of the monogram and these bags have now arrived in Stockholm which we celebrated. My personal favourite was the one by Cindy Sherman who is a fantastic photographer, she took inspiration from her travels all around the world and made the most chic camera bag I have ever seen. We were introduced to the event manager Philippe at Louis Vuitton that gave us the best tour that we could ever have asked for about the history of the fashion house and this monogram project, we were filled with new knowledge after the event and I left with a new fascination for this fashion house! It was such an inspiring event! The rest of the weekend have been spent moving in to the new apartment which has been super exciting!

Vi flög hem från London i onsdags för att börja förbereda för flytten och på torsdagen så bjöd Louis Vuitton in till en cocktail på deras huvudbutik här i Stockholm för att fira deras senaste projekt celebrating monogram. Sex olika framstående designers har fått i uppgift att tolka deras monoram i form av en väska och det var dessa väskor som de ställt ut i butiken. Min favorit kom från Cindy Sherman som hade hittat sin inspiration från hennes resor runt om i världen som fotograf. Hennes väska är nog en av de chicaste kameraväskorna man kan äga, jag hade då inte tackat nej till den! Vi fick en private guide av Louis Vuitton’s event manager Philippe under kvällen och han berikade oss med så mycket kunskap kring modehuset samt detta projekt, det var en ren glädje att få ha med honom vid sin sida under kvällens gång! Det var verkligen ett inspirerande event! Resten av helgen har gått åt till att flytta in i lägenheten på Karlaplan och snart börjar man se ljuset i tunneln!
