BRUNCH AT THE STANDARD. One of the best things about New York is the brunch tradition and it was the first thing that Johan and I did after we had landed in the city and checked in to our hotel. The restaurant that you find at The Standard is just as delicious for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Their kitchen is classic American with a modern touch to it which I love. We had their eggs benedict and their waffle with fresh fruit and whipped cream, it was very delicious! It was a perfect start to our Saturday and after we were done with the brunch we went for a walk in the Meathpacking district which is a very vibrant area full of great restaurants and shops. Of course we ended up at Chelsea Market, I just love that place too much!
BRUNCH AT THE STANDARD. Bland det bästa som finns är att bruncha i New York och det var det första jag och Johan gjorde på vårt hotell efter vi anlänt. The Standard har en riktigt härlig restaurang som passar lika bra till frukost, brunch, lunch eller middag. Det är ett modernt kök med fokus på klassisk amerikansk mat. Deras eggs benedict var divine och jag tog deras waffle med färska frukter och vispgrädde. En fantastisk start på lördagen och efter vi var klara med brunchen så gick vi ut i Meatpacking som är ett riktigt levande område, efter lite strosande bland butiker så begav vi oss till Chelsea Market där det känns som vi alltid hamnar, älskar det stället något otroligt!
