LUNCH AT BERGDORF GOODMAN. Walking around for stunning inspiration is something I love doing at Bergdorf Goodman, their haute couture section and jewellery section are my favourites. This is my favourite department store in New York for sure. I do wnder though if they break even in sales each month because each time I am here it feels like you are all alone in the store. But I guess if they have 2 costumers each day that goes bananas they are more than fine.
Something that I can recommend you to do is not to forget the restaurant that is located on the top floor of the store with a stunning view over Central Park. The food here is good but you don’t come here with focus on the food. It is such a legendary feeling to sit in this venue with the stunning view and the knowing that so many amazing meetings between celebrities from all different time periods have taken place here. The wall is filled with amazing photography that have captured there moments which is really fun to have a look at. I had their crab sandwich with avocado which was good, with this I had a lemonade. A perfect spot to refuel after the Tommy Hilfiger show which was located on the upper east side so it was a close walk to Bergdorf.

Att gå runt och kolla på Bergdorf Goodman är en guilty pleasure jag har, att inspireras i deras haute couture och juvelerar avdelning är något som fyller mig med vacker inspiration. Detta är utan tvekan mitt favoritvaruhus i New York. Jag undrar dock om de verkligen kan gå plus varje månad då i princip varje gång jag är där så är det nästan folktomt. Men jag antar att har dom två Asiatiska vänninor som besöker dom under dagen så är dagskassan fixad, det är helt sanslöst vilken konsumtionskraft Asiaterna i New York har. They keep the economy going for sure!
Något som jag kan rekommendera er att göra är att glöm inte bort att de har en restaurang högst upp i varuhuset med utsikt över Central Park. Maten är god men den är inte huvudfokus, den här platsen är perfekt för att njuta av den legendariska känslan som infinner sig genom att sitta ned i denna lokal. Väggarna är fulla med bilder med celebra gäster som besökt dom genom åren och det är alltid kul att spana på människor här. Jag tog deras krabbmacka med avocado och till detta slank en lemonad ned! En riktigt bra refuel efter Tommy Hilfiger visningen som ägde rum på the upper east side så det var nära och bra att komma hit .
