SUMMER DAYS IN CANNES. We spent most of our time in Cap d’Antibes as well as St Tropez but we also spent 3 days in Cannes. I think Cannes is a bit too touristy during the summer but I do like it as a city, you can find lots of great restaurants and the nightlife is a lot of fun! But during the day I don’t find the city too exciting, the beaches are not that great and they are always too crowded. I always recommend everyone I speak to regarding Cannes to rent a car and do fun excursions during the day to more private beaches which there are lots of in the area. So always rent a car when you are on the riviera, it’s worth it all the way an it will give you so much freedom! Here are 5 of my best advice on different excursions you must do if you are in Cannes! Enjoy!

SUMMER DAYS IN CANNES. Enjoy!

Calanques – Take the train to Cassis and go for a hike to view the stunning panormamic view from Calanques! You can also do a boat trip from Cassis and this way you can enjoy the beautiful beaches located at both ends!

– Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild –  This is the most beautiful villa on the French Riviera and thank god they have made it in to a museum so the public can take part of its beauty as well! Make sure to stay for lunch so you can indulge in the breathtaking view from the dining area!

Le Jardin exotique d’Eze – This is probably my favourite village on the french riviera! Located on top of a mountain you get the most spectacular views over the Côte d’Azur! As well as exploring the village you can’t miss the beautiful exotic garden! You can also find one of my favourite hotels in France here – Chateau de la Chevre d’Or, if you have the possibility you need to spend a night or two here. It’s so gorgeous!

Saint Paule de Vence – This beautiful village is famous for all its artists and all year around beauty! They say this little village has over 300 sunshine days per year so it doesn’t really matter what season you decide to come here, it will always be charming and beautiful! Be sure to soak in all the views to the fullest and explore the narrow streets and cute restaurants and cafés!

– Ile Sainte Marguerite – Located just off the coast from Cannes a short boattrip away you can find this picturesque little island. Perfect for a day trip! Have lunch here and play in the water as well as exploring the island!

Kram!
