Greek breakfast in Santorini

Photographer: Mon amour

GREEK BREAKFAST IN SANTORINI. Breakfast has always been my favourite meal during the day, I could live solely on breakfast food and I think I actually have at times. And eating breakfast at a stunning place like this takes the breakfast experience to a whole new level. Waking up in a beautiful suite at The Tsitouras Collection, filled with ancient Greek art everywhere fills you with so much inspiration and to then walk out on the terrace to enjoy a breakfast while looking out on the ocean just makes it all even more special. What I have noticed so far during our stay in Santorini is that the Greek people don’t eat much for breakfast, not really like Swedish people, we love our breakfast and especially me, my appetite is humongous in the morning. I ordered a omelette filled with feta cheese and tomatoes, my favourite breakfast dish while in Greece, I ordered it almost everyday. We also had some freshly pressed orange juice and to that we had lots of Greek yoghurts with a plate of fruit to go with it. A combination I love is Greek yoghurt together with sliced peaches, such a fresh combination! Being able to sit on this terrace and listen to the birds chirping, feeling the slight breeze from the ocean, it felt like the whole island was still sleeping, everything felt so peaceful! Johan and I were both put in a mode of pure relaxation, I almost fell asleep again after breakfast just because I was so relaxed!

GREEK BREAKFAST IN SANTORINI.

Kram
