Brunch spot in Paris: Cafe St Regis

BRUNCH SPOT IN PARIS: CAFE ST REGIS. One of my favourite areas in Paris is Ile Saint Louis, a picturesque little island located in the heart of Paris, surrounded by water and beautiful views over the neighbouring areas. When I lived in Paris back in 2013 I lived in St Germain des Pres, one of the cosiest areas of Paris in my opinion The area is filled with so many neat bistros, art galleries, antique shops, restaurants and wonderful shopping. They offer everything from the big international high end brands to smaller boutiques offering a wide selection of brands, ranging from high to low.

Something that Johan and I always used to do during the weekends when he came to visit me in Paris was that we used to take a walk along La Seine from St Germain des Pres to Ile Saint Louis to eat brunch at Cafe St Regis. The venue is bright and airy, filled with big windows letting through the light, allowing you to look out on the people passing by, listen to the sound of the street musicians playing the piano on the bridge, this little island is filled with so much life. The ambiance inside of Cafe St Regis is always buzzing, filled with laughter and people talking, it’s a popular place, especially during the weekend when they serve their mouth watering brunch (Their french toast is not to be missed) so make sure to come here in time before the queue has started to take form. If you are not that in to french toast I can also recommend you to try any of their egg dishes which they are very known for.

Definitely longing for Paris now. I’ll try this place with my boyfriend next time. Do you know any place that serves good coffee in Paris? I always find the coffee culture a bit difficult in France.

Absolutely, I can create a coffee guide to Paris! It can be a bit tricky to know where to go if you are in the mood for a delish creamy capp 🙂 xo
