Birthday breakfast at Hotel Giardino

BIRTHDAY BREAKFAST AT HOTEL GIARDINO. When we went down to the restaurant of Hotel Giardino Mountain to eat breakfast on Johan’s birthday the hotel surprised us with the most romantic birthday table! They had set up beautiful flowers and rose petals all over the table and lit up candles, it was so pretty and Johan was so surprised! All the staff knew about Johan’s birthday so as soon as they saw him they wished him a happy birthday! I really love this about boutique hotels, they go the distance for their guests, something that is not always possible at a bigger hotel. They also brought us a glas of champagne so we could do a proper birthday toast! Johan was shining like a little sun ray the entire breakfast so I gave him his birthday card where he could read about his second gift.. We are all about giving each other experiences instead of things, materialism feels a bit passé. He could read about the coming 2 star Guide Michelin experience we would experience together later that day, we both love Guide Michelin experiences so to be able to celebrate together at one of St.Morit’s top restaurants was something both of us was super excited about. After breakfast we went up to our room and made ourselves ready for the slopes! It had been snowing all night so the slopes were filled with lots of powder!

När vi gick ned till restaurangen på Hotel Giardino Mountain för att äta frukost på Johan’s födelsedag så hade hotellet förberett det finaste bordet till oss i ära av Johans birthday. Detta hade inte jag ens något med att göra så jag blev helt rörd av hur gulliga hotellets personal är och så fort någon i personalen såg Johan så önskade dom honom happy birthday! Hela vårt bord var fylld med vaser fulla av blommor och bordet hade rosenblad all over. Det var verkligen fantastiskt gulligt av dom! Dom kom även in med ett varsitt glas champagne till oss så vi kunde skåla in Johan’s 31 års dag med en proper skål! Varm choklad i all ära med le champagne är alltid att föredra vid festliga tillfällen! Johan strålade som en vacker liten solstråle och jag passade på att ge honom hans birthday card från mig där hans andra present presenterades! I kortet så berättade jag om att vi skulle äta på en 2 stjärnig Guide Michelin krog senare den dagen! Både jag och Johan föredrar att ge varandra upplevelser i present och är inte för att ge varandra saker. Efter frukosten så gick vi upp till vårt rum och gjorde oss i ordning för att ta oss an backarna! Det snöade hela natten så backarna var fulla med puder!
